Well the X10 is going back. It has too many issues for me to overlook including most recently, dropping signal for no reason whatsoever!

It drives me mad with some of the strange things you cannot do, for example not being able to remove preinstalled applications which is crazy, (and no different from the controlling iPhone!).

So it is going back today and is being exchanged for a Samsung Galaxy S...

Hope ive made the right choice!!

    Cheers

Just root the phone and you can remove everything you want. :)

There will be apps on that phone you cant remove too.

What browser are you using on your pc?

If you went over to firefox chrome or what ever, did you remove IE? If not just think of it as the same thing :)

I get what you are saying and see your point. However, I received the Galaxy today and it is amazing.

The pre-installed apps are far less intrusive, for example it doesnt have any of the moxier rubbish, (imo), and also facebook is not preinstalled - thank goodness!

The screen too is incredible as is the more advanced operating system.

Dont get me wrong, I am not a hater or a troll, the SE X10 is a lovely phone, but needs much more refinement.

Both great phones though, and android for the WIN over Apple, (and i was a big iphone fan).

I have to say, although I think the build quality of the X10 is better than the Galaxy, I would probably choose the galaxy over the X10 if I could, so I think you made a good choice. I do still love my X10 though and don't regret buying it :D
