Help Ittle Dew just loops at the loading screen

I bought Ittle Dew from the Play Store. It installed fine. However, when i went to play it the first cut scene showed, then I was given the main menu. I chose one of the blank save icons. The next screen said the game was loading, then the first cut scene was shown again and the main menu came back up. I then used es explorer to move the obb folder to the sd card thinking that might be the problem. Instead I was greeted with a "download failed because you did not purchase the game". So I was able to conclude that when the obb was internal no data was downloaded and when It was external I was told I "stole" the game and no data was downloaded.
I have a LGl34c android 4.4 if that helps.
And please forgive my noobieness, but, I am new. I am a quick learner though.

I guess I should mention that my phone is rooted
