Jelly Bean Notifications Bar Disable Details

Hi

How can I change the settings so that when I pull down notifications bar it won't show me content of emails or text messages? I still want them there, but only as a simple list of 1-line-per-item, as it used to be.

I know google made this feature to put reply etc buttons in there, but I would really like the notifications be as they used to.

I don't believe this is able to be changed. I've looked around on my gs3 running 4.1.2 and can't find any option to change how the notifications are shown.

If there is a way that I'm missing, please speak up as I wouldn't mind having back the old style too

If I use a third party SMS app like Go SMS, I get the smaller notifications.

I think I get detailed ones for Gmail and Whatsapp only, which is annoying anyway because those are the ones I get most frequently any way.
