I'm just another consumer waiting for the right moment to buy a smartphone that will be obsolete in 3 months! I'm on Verizon, so I'm keeping my eye on the Samsung Fascinate and the rumored HTC Scorpion. If you think your phone is obsolete, I'm still using an LG Dare.

I was all ready to spring on the Droid X, but I think I want something a little smaller. Now I'm just bitter that the X release is keeping Verizon from releasing details on when the Fascinate and the Scorpion will be released.

I enjoy the forums and I'm constantly amazed by how many of you have more than one smartphone! I appreciate the advice and the in depth reviews you all post.

    See you around.

    Welcome to Android Forums :)

Huh. I haven't heard of the HTC Scorpion. I'll have to look it up.

I was surprised there wasn't a whole section dedicated to it on the Forums here. It's supposed to be a 1.5 Ghz phone with all the bells and whistles. Given how hard it is to get firm information on the Fascinate (which is supposed to come out relatively soon), I guess it's no surprise that a phone a generation or so past the Fascinate with no firm release timeline has such limited information available.

yeah... agreed. I looked it up. It's pretty much rumor, at this point.

Rumors seem to be the coin of the realm in message boards! :)

I have the Motorola Droid (rooted, with SS4.6, and 1.1GHz kernel) and love it.
