I used the invisibleSHIELD on my Palm Pre for months and thought it was awesome. You do have to TAKE YOUR TIME when applying it!!

In all that time, I never scratched it and it never peeled off. Worked great with the touch screen as well.

Well, I had to switch to verizon last week so, I purchased the droid. (AMAZING PHONE BTW)

I just ordered a new shield at (commission site link removed by Mod)
They started to offer 20% off as of today.

I'm just hoping it works as well on this phone.

Oh good. I used it on the Palm Pre (which is also touch screen) with no problems at all, but you never know how it will be on a new device.

Glad to hear it's working out for you.

its working really well...I had the Zagg invisibleShield on my LG Dare and my BB Storm...I wouldn't purchase a different screen protector...mostly cause this 1 is lifetime warrantied by ZAGG...

I only put the screen protector on cause I have the body glove case for the rest of the phone...but going to upgrade cases to the shell and holster combo...I like the flat black look to the phone...

    Thanks Toll.

Is there anyone that has put it on the front AND the back? If so, how did it fit?

By the way before I click the order button, what's the quality difference between a $15 Ghost Armor and a $25 Invisible Shield? I've been getting conflicting reports via YouTube video reviews.

Can't really help you on that one. I have only used the invisibleshield. I paid 20 with the discount. All i can tell you is that it really protected my other devices well. I even dropped my Pre and expected to pick it up with a cracked screen. Not a mark! The other thing I like is that they offer a lifetime warranty. Maybe Ghost Armor does too?

Sorry I can't give you a good comparison. Good Luck.

Do you have it for the Droid already? Does it cover the entire phone? I heard (from one of the video reviews) that the full body protector for the iPhone didn't protect the chrome and I hear that some full body protectors don't protect the Droid's bezel.

I don't have it yet for the droid. I do know it covered the entire Palm Pre as well as the LG my wife has. (I can't remember the model but it's one of the newer ones with the big screen.)

If you can be carefull with your phone for a few more days (lol) I'll let you know as soon as I get it.

i've scene ghost armor they are ok IMHO...but invisible shield is a lot tougher and it has lifetime warranty so if the shield rips, tears, scratches, or comes off just call ZAGG directly and they will have a replacement for you in the mail and on your doorstep in a matter of days...:D

I installed my full body InvisibleShield just the other day. On my last phone (Black Motorola Q) I only purchased the shield for the screen. I decided to get the shield for the entire phone just because of how well the last shield performed. I dropped my Q numerous times and in some cases practically threw it. I took the shield off of the Q (after being on for about 3 years) and the screen looked brand new. Didn't even leave any residue after all of those years of being stuck to it. Not only that, it never started peeling up on its own. Because of how well it works I also got it for my 4th gen nano.

Now, to answer your question regarding the coverage. The full body kit comes with two sheets with multiple pieces of shield on it. The sheet for the includes coverage for the entire screen, the plastic around the edge of the upper slide portion and the plastic on the flat part of the bottom portion where the "Verizon" badging is. The bottom sheet has numerous pieces on it. This sheet includes coverage for pretty much the entire back in segments (not covering the camera lens or speaker for obvious reasons), and the plastic angular edge pieces along the sides.

The one thing the kit does NOT cover is the very edge where the buttons are including the same edge along the top and left. Basically the angled edges on all sides are covered, but not the flat edge. I find this a little odd in some spots since the entire left side should be easy to protect, just omitting the spot for the micro usb port. The right side could have been done in segments. So if you drop the phone the only thing like to get scratched or damaged will be the flat edge.

The touch screen is still perfectly responsive. Also, if you've ever used the InvisibleShield product, you'll know it's not exactly slick, but not gummy or sticky either, so it'll take a little getting used to on the touch screen. On the plus side it'll make it a bit more difficult to just slide out from between your fingers :)

Oh, a couple more things. Take your time to install it, install it in a place with plenty of light and make sure you put all pets far away and clean up your work area so no dust or hair is around! Make sure you have the sheet perfectly lined up especially for the screen, wet your fingers and the sheet with the supplied pre-moistened sponge, and when you apply it, start from one side or the top and slowly lay it down in sort of a rolling motion to make sure you get as much air out as possible. Smooth out the larger bubbles with the supplied installation card, start from the center and move to the edges. Sometimes your fingernail will work better. Don't worry about microbubbles. They usually disappear within 24 hours leaving the surface glossy with no bubbles at all.

Two things to mention about placement for the screen. There is a slit cut for the earpiece and a small round hole cut out for the light/face sensor. Line it up as good as you can. Because of this I recommend starting from the top, but whatever you think is easier.

I got me a gadgetguard dot com. It seems ok and it covers all areas of the Droid. I only paid $12 or 13 for it off of ebay. Hell I got me a FM tuner off of ebay for $6.50 which was being sold at Best Buy for $39.99 and it works great for listen to pandora or whatever in my car since I have stock radio.

I don't think the gadgetguard doesn't have the lifetime warranty though.

I have to correct myself, this is from there website.
Gadget Guards are guaranteed to last the life of your Gadget. If the Guard fails to live up to our high standards by peeling or scratching, we will replace it at no additional product cost.

Just got a delivery at my desk. My SHIELD is in! I will most likely apply it tonight so I'll let you guys know tmrw. From the looks of it though, it looks like it will cover the entire device.

    Later.

LOL... I know it is scary. You'll be fine, just dont dip the phone in water to get it wet. ;) Is it the invisibleSheild? If so, just lightly spray it and you'll be able to slide it around easily. I have used it on 2 two other devices with no problem.

Worst screen protector on the market. The invisible sheild material was designed for the BODY of devices not the screens. The material is NOT fully transparent and the rubber feel grips your finger to the screen and its difficult to slide it around. Not to mention massive orange peel effect all over your screen.
