well, i was not happy about no l.e.d. notification light, but
i can't pass this phone up. i have read and watched so much
good about this phone that i am getting it. i called t-mobile this
a.m. and asked the "overseas" girl to connect me to the loyatly dept.
i had 8 months left until full upgrade. i begged the guy for the best
deal he could do for me, and this is what i got. $280.00 for the phone,
no activation fee, $20.00 a month for android service, he gave me free
express shipping. i am pleased with this deal, it is not perfect, but i have
no mail in rebates and i was still a long way away from full upgrade.
ps: boy has t-mobile initial customer service ever changed!! you used to
call and they would pick up right away and you would be speaking to
an english speaking person, it was quite nice. NO MORE, those days
are gone, you sit on hold forever, and are sent overseas.
do you guys think my deal was at least o-k?? please let me know, thanks.

i think you should verify if you actually got that 20 a month for the internet because their android web based plan is set in stone; 30 a month. i hope he wasn't bsing you but you should really check up on that because 30 a month is the plan that tmo offers for the web.

Considering you weren't supposed to have an upgrade anyway, how would your deal be bad? Unless you're not talking about the phone price, and you're asking about the bill? In which case you have a very nicely priced plan going, but if your problem this time was getting an upgrade ahead of time, why sign yourself up for another 2 years when t-mo's Even More Plus plan is cheaper than Even More?

yea, i was talking about the phone. i wasn't sure if
the $280.00 was a decent price, but i think it is o-k.
i am really happy with my plan price, i can't find a lower plan
from any other carrier. i have super reception from t-mobile
    in my town.

Man, I got robbed. I wasn't due for an upgrade until January, so about 7 months and I only got 329.00 no freebies at all. Is the loyalty department different than customer care?

that's exactly what I have, just added the $20 web when I got the phone. same text and voice as you do too. The new unlimited data for me shows up on my account as Preferred Andriod Unlimited Web -$20

Got the phone though for $99 after calling and they priced matched the $99 Costco price.

Loyalty dept is the best. Thats how got such a good deal on my plan. I am paying for two lines with unlimited everything including android web for around $150 after taxes.

You got a great deal on the phone. I was impatient so I bought my phone outright and I noticed that as long as I am not in contract with them, Tmo does whatever they can to keep me around. They call me every couple of months with some new offer. You can check your bill online to see exactly what your paying for when everything is all said and done

No matter what i do i cant make my vibrant lose bars... unless of course i go into a place that is known to have no service. and yes, the battery is off for everyone.
