So I just got my first smartphone ever. Actually, my first phone that hasn't been free with a 2-year contract. I'm still getting used to it but there's one thing I can't figure out (sorry if I sound stupid, bear with me). I'm trying to make a shortcut to my contacts on my main screen. I understand I can scroll to the right, click the symbol with 3 lines and get them all, but this bothers me. Is there any way I can make a shortcut to my contacts or do I just have to live with the 2 extra steps?

Sure, open your Apps list (arrow to the left of phone on the home screen) and press and hold the People icon. The App list will close and the the People icon will still be under your finger. Then you can drag and release it anywhere you want it to go.

No problem. We all have to start learning somewhere.
