K9 email

    Need help.

    I uninstalled K9 email app yesterday and today I went to install it again and in the market it says that it is installed and I can install it again. It just gives me an option to uninstall but it already is! What can I do??

    maybe try to clear the cache of the market?

    Settings -> Applications -> manage applications -> market -> clear cache -> possibly reboot device too

    Give that a try then go back to the market and see if that helps :)

    I don't see Market listed with the other apps when I go to Manage Apps

    Sorry , I don't have my HTC Magic to hand, try Android Market or marketplace then :)

    It's definitely their though. Oh and you could try menu -> full list I think. if you still can't find it

    Just installed K9 mail and so far love it

    I was getting so fedup with the inbuilt IMAP client on 1.5, seems andorid works great if you want to use Gmail but rubbish for Imap, half the time it couldn't even sync the unread/read status of the server.

    Installed K9 and not only is it properly syncing which messages I've read on the pc it's also pushing email via Imap Idle :cool:

    The Version on their site seems newer than the one on the market place but i've used the one from the market place so I don't have to remember to check for updates.

    I switched to K-9 last week and love it. I am using it for both my comcast and gmail account and so far it has been flawless. Wasn't too thrilled with the icon but that was easily replaced.
