I have spare batteries I want to use as backup(the stock 1300mAh and another 1500mAh). I want to keep one in my car but wondering should I keep it fully charge or should I keep it halfway charge? Do they lose their charge after a while of just sitting there?

    Thanks, Kevin

Extra batteries should be stored at roughly 50% capacity. Storing at full will eat at its maximum capacity at a quicker rate. And yes they do lose their charge over time as well.

If you will be keeping it in your car be careful of what the temperature inside the vehicle is as well because like many things they do not like extreme heat or cold.

Thank you very much! The batteries aren't going to be in the car long(or so I hope), but thanks for the heads up on the temperature.
