Hi guys, I've got a Vodafone handset that I unlocked and debranded and it currently has the official Froyo 2.2 software on it. When I updated to Froyo I decided to make my regular 8gb SD card into a Goldcard so that I can leave it in the phone, use it as normal and still receive the official OTA updates. But, I'm wondering what actually makes it a Goldcard - i.e. is there anything I've got to be careful not to delete? Or is it just a case of being sure not to reformat it? All I did was to backup the files on it before I formatted it and turned it into a Goldcard and then copied those back over to it after having done the update. So, still a Goldcard then?
