Hey guys. When ever I use Google Chat on Wifi only, even when I have my Wifi set to stay on with the screen off, it keeps getting disconnected after some time of inactivity. The only way ive been able to keep it running with the screen off is to have eBuddy or some other MSN chat program also running... Ive chcked through all the settings to keep Wifi on all the time and I dont get why it disconnects anyway

This seems to work for me, Thanks jbrinkley. Now I can have convos with my friends without having the keep checking the phone every minute :p

ive got a Netgear N router as well, so I dont think it's that... but I could be wrong. Nonetheless, the app works for me :)

Naw, I don't think so either. It's an issue that G knows about. They all (newer ones) behave like that apparently.
