Root Kernel problems

So I installed one of P3's 1.2 kernels on my phone last night, when I rebooted my phone setCPU said at the top 1000GHz, but when I opened up the app, it said the max was 528MHz and it won't let me go higher than 528MHz on any profile, did I download the wrong kernel or how can I fix it to OC my phone?

I have Froyo Kangerade Nex-Tang 5.0.9 ROM.

In SetCPU, make sure you set it to autodetect device, rather than selecting Droid.
