Help Keyboard backlight does not come on - Epic

The keyboard backlight on my Epic does not work anymore. I've search the forum and tried several things such as toggling the auto brightness but it did not work.

Has anyone had the same problem with their Epic? Also, the smiley face and the "home" keys do not work either.

Any ideas?

How much battery do you have left? If you are 15% or under, the backlight does not turn on to save the battery you have left. I don't know if this is the case or not, but it is one possibility. As for the home key and smiley face, I'm not sure.

I don't think so because, even with the battery fully charged the backlight does not come on. But thanks....
