Keypad backlight bug with 2.0.1

I think I found a bug in 2.0.1. If you power on your Droid in the dark, the keypad backlight does not work. You have to go to Setting -> Display and manually unclick the "Auto" and reclick it back.

Anyway to get it to work is to power the droid is a lighted room and everything will work fine. I think somehow the light sensor got screw up when it is dark to start with.

mine won't go off...it used to after a few seconds.

I have a similar problem. The keypad lighting won't turn on after powering the phone on. I have to manually lock it, and then unlock it for the problem to be corrected. As far as I know, it'll continue to be in good working order until you shut the phone down and turn it back on again.
