kik and battery life ?

    so iv been using kik on my evo recently. i noticed it KILLS my battery BIG TIME. the mobile network has to be on to use kik and it just drians my battery like no tomorrow.

    I deleted it after about 20 minutes lol... it was crazy how it grew so quick though. I saw it trending on twitter and within an hour so many people downloaded it at once that it crashed their servers. Would have been nice if pmessenger had taken off like that.

    I've been using it for months and haven't noticed any additional battery drain. Curious.

    The no pic thing was a killer for me anyways... I just stick with gtalk for now.

    I am experiencing a battery drain problem on the incredible too. For now I'm sticking with pingchat until that is fixed
