I have been enjoying my NC with N2A card for a month or two now...(lovelove) but I have a question -I do most of my reading on the kindle app(free books daily:)) but I don't like how bright the reader is,even on dimmest this just 'one of those things' that comes from an aftermarket change? I downlaoded the adjbrightness app, which works great on general NC usage, but it doesn't change the brightness when using Kindle reader....(sigh) anything I can use to dim the screen? I'd even buy a screen cover for dimming,as I like to read in the dark, and it's still too bright for comfort.....
*Oh,one more question- I had thought I just put N2A card in,and leave it there permanently, unless I want to return it to store this correct?

How about settings... display... adjust the brightness there?

Nothing wrong with leaving it in your NC, but your sdcard will eventually fail.

I have adjusted it down as far as possible, the kindle app is still pretty bright....
what do you mean the sd card will fail? I am So confused right now....if I take it out, won't it revert back to regular NC? I thought I was supposed to leave it to run!

You have a limited number of reads and writes on your sdcard before it fails. Maybe it'll last a year.

When it fails, you'll be stuck buying a new card or flashing CM9 on your NC, replacing the stock rom.

Look for an app in the market called "screen dim". It let's you take your brightness and contrast down to zero and has 5 custom presets you can use. When running it keeps an icon in your status bar so you can quickly pull it up, and the interface screen floats over the current screen you are using so it makes it easy to adjust for particular apps. Just start your app, open screen dim and adjust until you like how it looks, then hit the back button to close screen dim and return to the program you were in. Be careful though, this app really will let you take brightness and contrast down to zero, meaning it can be real hard to undo it when you can't see where the onscreen controls are... :)
