Lack of a second mic was SUCH an oversight

I'm really hating this, but I'm coming up on 30 days with the fascinate, and I'm contemplating returning it. I love the phone so much, but I'm on my phone often outdoors, and I cannot hear a damn thing when there is the slightest bit of wind. I've never had this problem on any other phone before, and my previous phones were of way lower caliber. Is there any resolution this this short of getting a different phone?!

what about a headset? that would give you whatever mic you got with the headset, and the sound would be piped directly to your ears...

I feel your pain. I'm past my 30 days, so now just praying that there will be some adjustment to the call quality.

Lots of people focus so much on the bells and whistles that we forget this is first and foremost a phone so the ability to make and receive clear calls is still paramount. I mean after all if you just wanted a gadget for doodling around you could just get an ipod or something. Oh the heresy ;)

i was contemplating the droid x also, what kills me with that phone is how dull looking the screen is compared to fascinate...

Its all in what you prefer more realistic colors on the x or eye popping more saturated colors with fascinate

I have had great call quality-as good or better than my D1. More oversight would include the charger on top and power/volume buttons opposite each other resulting in inadvertant volume changes when powering off.
