:thumbsdowndroid:Basically, my laptop recognizes my tab, then stops in a loop. The tablet knows that it's connected, because it as "Connected to a media device" and has a power icon with a cross in it. I'm trying to root my tab (sorry Android, just really want to!) so moving files and connecting my tab is necessary. I don't have access to another laptop/PC and it doesn't work on my phone (Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo).

Reinstalled the drivers several times from Kies 3 and the Samsung website. Just saying, I un-rooted my Kingo Root because I couldn't update the SU binary from Kingo 13. And just for you people who are tech savvy with Android, here's my specs:
Model number: SM-T230;
Android version: 4.4.2 (KitKat);
Kernel version: 3.10.0-4756355;
Build number: KOT49H.T230XXU0AOD2
