Okay so i recently flashed the 2.2 MDW ROM and everything went well for like the first 30 minutes. So i was restoring my applications and such and on the first attempt i restored some things using My backup pro and as soon as I restored my data when i tried going to my home screen the launcher would constantly force close. So of course i couldnt accomplish anything while this was happening so i had to nandroid and start over. On the second attempt i tried NOT using My backup pro thinking that that was the issue but then yet again my launcher started force closing. Now i really want to go to 2.2 but obviously i cant because of the launcher force closing. I must be doing something wrong because everyone else to be not having this issue. Any help?

    Thanks

It may be a particular application that is causing the issue....

I hate to say this but do a new ROM flash, then restore your apps one by one. each time go back to the home screen - and that should tell you which one it is.

Is there a way to do that? As soon as i flash it the new Market automatically restores most of my apps

immediately go to market and manually install an app - that should block all of the other installs.

Ever since I upgraded to 2.2, I haven't had any issue with the Launcher. But yea, it could be one of the apps or widgets that are running in the background.
