I will experiment with both but I think I'm gonna end up with Launcher Pro. I love it! What will you use for your X?

I love ADW because of the app drawer effects. Will all the usual ADW stuff work on the X like the fly-in effect and color-changeable drawer background?? Not sure if any early owners have tried it yet...

Does LauncherPro have the same app drawer effects?
Does ADW have the pinch to view all homescreens like Launcher yet?

LauncherPro if i do decide to get it(droid x). I like both launcherpro and adw but Ive had a lot more issues with ADW and really just love launcherpro's dock and how stable it is.

    ok....

Question: Does anyone know if the X's home screen can go horizontal, like launcher pro?

The Incredible's could NOT. Thanks in advance.

I will probably be using the stock home for quite a long time...but as I get tired of it (if that is possible with a 4.3" screen) I will experiment with Launcher and ADW. Both are awesome on my Eris.

Laucher Pro is fast on the X and the stock home does not allow you to use the home screens in landscape view. You can use the stock widgets in LauncherPro but you just can't resize them.

I will use stock for a while, just to try out the new widgets, really looking forward to resizing them. Then I will probably use Launcher pro, then back to stock, and so forth.

The new widgets look really ugly imo so I'm going to go straight to ADW Launcher or Launcher Pro.

I don't understand, why does using one of the 3rd party launchers affect the moto widgets and the use of resizing? I thought they just change app drawer stuff and home screen speed etc... why would the widgets function any different since they seem separate to me?

With HTC Sense, using a third-party launcher prevented me from using HTC's widgets. I'm not sure if that will also happen with the Droid X, but it's possible.

The stock widgets work with launcher pro, you just can't resize them. Here a couple of quick pics of LauncherPro with a few stock widgets running.

Hello, this is my first post!

I have been looking at apps in anticipation of getting my Droid X and I like these launcher apps, but does anyone know if any of them will allow for re-sizing the widgets? This is a major selling point for me, I love that feature.

Visual notifications are awesome, it's one of the things I do like about the Iphone.
