LED light Torch App preinstalled in Vodafone 2.2 froyo release

    That's the highlight for me of this update. That and speedier operating, that is.

    Apologies to the unbranded crew but you've got this to look forward to soon enough. VF Branded have had it hard re late firmware updates in the past so nice to get it first.

    Any questions re the release?

    ive had more force closes since the update, never had them ever before, now one a day

    I agree, more forced closes, very sluggish on opening e-mail and changing accounts.
    Still no voice activation for calls but voice activation for web searches, time HTC sorted out the basics.
    Legend is a great PDA to me it is a second rate phone no voice activation, often will mot connect even when showing good signal strength, turn off and back on again to connect and before anyone suggests I have rebooted to original.

    I'm running the Cyanogenmod ROM and it also includes the torch app. I was surprised to see it and have used it many times already - it comes in really handy when you realize how powerful that little LED light is!

    It's very buggy for me, force closing a lot, but the torch is excellent :)

    try TeslaLED, it's the best torch out there!
