How long do these last for? Do they last until you discover the text, missed call or notification? Or do they stop eventually.

Sometimes I seem to get them and other times they tend to expire or not flash at all.

    Cheers.

I assume I'm right in thinking that there is no way of altering this time limit with the stock apps and software? I certainly don't seem to be able to find a way of doing so. I'm sure there's an app out there for it! :D

No, it's set. ONly standard selection is on/off for each type. Not sure if an app exists top control time, but havent seen one.

The standard reminder only stays on for 5 minutes (I believe).

Handcent can be set to remind with several options but only for sms.

There is an app (sorry I've forgotten the name but it is mentioned on the forums) that allows for system wide reminders to be customised.

Missed Reminder works amazingly well for me. It is for sms, calls and gmail notifications.

I'm using this too - it's very configurable so for SMS, MMS, Email (it says Gmail in the menu but I think it's all email, can someone verify?) and calls you can set a different frequency and action (LED flash, vibrate, popup notification, light up screen, play sound, etc).
