The power of drellisdee is strong. His effort has brought a custom kernel with ext and android-wifi-tether. The link is not public on the android-wifi-tether google code page so don't look there yet.

    Link: http://android-wifi-tether.googlecode.com/files/wireless_tether_2_0_5-pre9.apk

Please test by getting drellisdee's kernel and the unreleased tether app.

    Notes:
The kernel needs rom support for app2sd to work with drellisdee's kernel.

This is better then barnacle because it supports more devices and is open source.

    Running:

    ROM: Velocity 0.1.1
    Kernel: 2.6.29 dustin@dustin-laptop #4

    Also,

Are you informing us that we should be testing it with a ROM that supports Apps2SD? (Dapper Duck)

Or is this just an aside, that Apps2SD doesn't work with drellisdee's kernel unless you also use a ROM that supports Apps2SD?
