LG Connect Stuck on 1x and not 4G ? Help!Support

    So i just got my LG Connect today to find out the 4G isn't working, i Called metro and i cant believe the lady said 1x is 4G???!... i don't know if this is some complete BS because 4G is way faster! .... but i know for a fact the 4G works on this phone and that i am in the 4G Coverage in my area because i have an lg esteem that works totally fine... Whats Wrong here? What can i do to get the 4G working , i know im in the right place to ask this question lol please Help if you Read this whole thing! haha!

    I suspect that this is related to the network problems that they have had yesterday and somewhat continuing today. I lost 4G about 5-6 times today and it was out all morning yesterday. Every area seems to be affected differently. I doubt that it is your phone.

    Trun phone off while in airplane mod than back on that worked for me

    Take it back, they will fix it right away. In less than a minute. Forget customer service over the phone. They have no clue.

    In my case I installed an app to save battery juice and it knocked down the 4g in sleep mode to save power. But it never came back.

    The same thing happen to me too. I received my yesterday phone and activated to find that, I am running on 1x. I hope is the Network not my phone

    Did you confirm that you have 4G in your area?

    I woke up this morning and still have 1x. I live in New York City which is a 4g area

    I went to Setting>About phone>Status> on (Mobile network type CDMA – 1XRTT) and on (4G MAC address NOT AVAILABLE)

    Get anycut from market. Go to new shortcut. Try to find metro PC's hidden menue. Make shortcut. Go to home screen Once there choose metro PC's hidden menue. Once there go to network select/network mode/hybrid. Choose automatic. The phone will reboot with 4g. Pm for help. Had same problem on LG esteem. That should fix it. Screen grabs soon to follow.

    I did what you said and my setting are set to (CDMA + LTE EVDO AUTO)
    I still only have 1x. but thanks for trying to help

    Apart from not getting 4G in a known 4G-covered area, does you signal level (bars) display fluctuate a lot ? Does it jump between zero and 3-4 bars for example ?

    This is what happened to my first Connect. The signal was consistently bad, although voice quality seemed OK and I wasn't dropping calls. I went to corporate store, once they "re-provisioned" the phone (claiming that initial activation was not fully successful), but the second time, after watching the signal levels, they quickly gave up and just replaced the phone. The replacement had 4G on already when they handed it to me 20 minutes later :).

    The same troubleshooting/replacement would take hours with Sprint. I'm so glad I ditched them...

    I just came back from two metrocps stores and both of them said their is 4g service in the area.
    I will have to return this LG conect for a replacement.

    I just got a replacement phone in the mail and I still have the same issue. 1x
    they must have lost the 4g service in this area

    Maybe your 4G sim card is the problem, did you change it also?

    I don't think so, because this is a band new phone with with a band new 4g sim card.

    make sure you are located in the dark purple area.

    It doesn't matter new or not...if the simcard is not good, you won't get 4G. I would check it, this is simple.

    How with you check the simcard? everything else on phone is working fine except no 4g service

    thank you everyone for your help. It was the 4G sim car! I had to reprogram it back to my phone again and that solve my problem

    If everything on the phone is working perfectly but the 4g IT IS THE SIM CARD 100%. It is not necessarily defective just not matched to the phone.

    Go to A metro location and have them look up your account and match it up.

    Did it today after i wasn't getting 4g. 2 minutes later BAM 4g.

    Anyone having this problem --- ITS THE SIM CARD NOT MATCHED PROPERLY --

    i guess im having same issues on my lg connect tried too activate on phone not connecting to networks well no 4g network bars keep going from 3 to 0 constent need too figure this out
