    I see the 2 devices with the exclamation marks saying "LG USB Modem" but I don't see "Android Phone" listed.
    I been trying to root this phone for weeks now; going back to steps to see what I have been doing wrong. I'm starting to get frustrated uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers and SDK.

    HELP!

    Moved your thread to the LG All things root section.
    There should be members who can help you here.

    If you don't see the "Android Phone" listed, just choose "All Devices" and then Next. Now you should see a "Have Disk" button, click this and browse to android_winusb.inf in SDK\usb_driver folder and hit OK. Now you should see a list of 3 options. Click on "Android ADB Interface" and click "Next". You'll probably see an "Update driver warning" box, so just click "Yes" to install it anyway.

    Before you do this, you may need to open the android_winusb.inf (will open in notepad) and add the following info before HTC Dream (however some have reported not needing this step):

    ;LG eve
    %SingleAdbInterface% = USB_Install, USB\VID_18D1&PID_D00D
    %CompositeAdbInterface% = USB_Install, USB\VID_18D1&PID_D00D&MI_01
    ;
