LG optimus extreme

Hello!
Just bought a new LG optimus extreme and can't figure out how to delete a contact. I have tried holding finger on the contact but nothing happens

Hello j2g77. Thanks for joining Android Forums. I'm sorry you are having difficulties removing a contact. I would think that a long press should bring you a menu of options with delete being one. You might try rebooting the phone and see if that might set things right. (removing battery while the unit is off and then replacing)
It's also possible that your phone has a different removal process that I'm unaware of. We don't have a specific discussion area for your phone but might find some help in the LG Optimus areas. Best of luck to you and thanks for joining the community.

Go to the contact you want to delete and press the menu button on the bottom of the phone.
