Other ROMs keep the Market etc, it was just CM that got the cease and desist.

NANDroid backup will be unaffected, wipe just blanks /data

Nightlies are CM7, other ROMs are stock based, such as the MoDaCo Custom ROM

I just went to download cyangrnmod7.1 and it asked if I wanted Google apps if I click OK and download and then wipe>> then flash the zip file will cyangen and Google apps(marker etc) be there ?

I presume you're using ROM Manager to download it?

Yes it will, makes things easier.

CM is around 90MB and GApps is around 15MB I think.

It will get saved in /sdcard/clockworkmod/download/something

Yes, that's where they're meant to be.

CM uses the external card as /sdcard and the internal card as /mnt/emmc (unless you choose to swap them over)

No, leave it in place, files need to be read from it.

Okayy thats cool, its just a read somewhere it deletes everything so i was scared LOL scared, that it would delete my nandroid backups ! I hope everything works when i do it if not well im screwed... LOL

Haha XD Sorry man its just my phones on contract, and i didnt wanna ya no mess it up and then go back to a non-droid D: how bad would that be, theres just one thing i do not like about it when you open the app draw it isnt the 3D one so i had to use a launcher so its as if i havnt installed a custom rom anyway except for a few tweaks

That's the beauty of it, customize it to your liking. I use Launcher2 taken from the T-Mobile G2 which is the stock Android launcher but with 7 screens.
