Help Lighting up constantly

Hi,

Another issue now - my galaxy note 3 seems to light up at random times and want to know how to stop this.

I have tried the following:

• Deactivating notifications from games/apps I use regularly
• Deleting internet browsing history

What else could I do to try and solve this very irritating problem? The phone stays lit and I often wake during the night to find my phone lit up!!

If it's plugged in, once it fully charges you'll periodically get a notification to remove the charger, and that wakes the phone and turns the screen on. There are apps that can stop that - the Notify Clear module in Xposed or Tasker for 2.

It lights up even when not charging too. It doesn't appear that there are any new notifications etc so its really infuriating. If I use the lock button on the side of the phone when it lights up, sometimes it lights up seconds later and might do this 2 or 3 times before it stops.

Seems to me they put a setting in android some years ago to specifically disable the darn unplug charger notification! At least they did on all my previous android phones.

They must have in the N3, since I must have disabled it somewhere along the way. I just can't remember where.
