It sounds to me like you're best bet is an advanced restore from a new nandroid backup. I am not on the OTA or I would send you one. Hopefully you can get some else to help you out.

try the new SBF P3 released. It should fix you up as long as you haven't tried flashing the 2.1 sbf.
TBH announces Froyo System SBF and RSDLite 4.8

His instructions say to use PC mode and let it reboot to the bootloader.
You will have to power on to the bootloader though for it to work.

You will probably need the new drivers also sorry don't have link have a link. Anyone have link to new Moto connect drivers that work on 2.2?

haha thanks for all the support... dTach sent me a backup that he made... as he was sending it... the sbf file was released... he stayed up 3am my time...

Dtatch took like 3 hours outta his time and put his phones recovery on top computer... then gave me file and i used it as my recovery.... worked flawlessly KUDOS

Huh? How did you get it on you phone if you were stuck at the M?
