New here so I hope I'm posting in the correct area.
I bought a Augen mini netbook that running Windows CE 248 mhz processor.
It runs horrible, can I load Andoid on this thing? If so, any advice on how I would accomplish this?

    Thanks in Advance.

    Android is a phone OS.

That said, it can probably be done with some great difficulty.

Android is an EVERYTHING OS that got it's start on phones. :)

That said, it probably can't be done unless you have hard working devs on the project.

It's actually shipping on a lot of the new netbooks so I'm sure it can be done. I'm trying to figure out how to access the Bios of these Augen netbooks...1st challenge.

Why would you buy a netbook with that low power? My first computer about 15 years ago had 300mhz...

Well the tablets you see with android, are made with Android components. Its hard to convert an actual PC to run android when none of the components are compatible.

Ok here is a little insight on this question android system cannot be loaded on a computer. The point is that android is build off of Linux kernel. This means that the software which can be loaded on to a computer is linux. The best version of linux in my opinion is Ubuntu but for the more advanced users just Linux shell should be fine for development. Again read up on the androd system a little more and you will see it is an offshoot of Linux just as ios is an offshoot of Unix.

Linux is assumes you know exactly what you are doing :)

If you just want a better OS, you could try Jolicloud.
