Hello, new to the forums, searched but couldn't find my answer. I live and work in Northwest Indiana, but sometimes do work in Illinois. The last time I went to Illinois, my location services became basically stuck in the state. The weird thing is that I get roughly the same North and South location as where I am in Indiana, but it will not give me the correct town. For instance when I am at home in Crown Point, my location shows Crete, IL. which is the same area south, just in Illinois. Same when I go north in Indiana. As soon as I cross the border into Illinois, the location services picks up immediately. Anyone have this issue or know something I can do aside from a hard reset which I have done, it worked for about a half hour then went back to the same issue.

    Thank you.

I'm pretty sure location service is based on the cell tower it's receiving strongest signal from.

You could try updating the location using GPS.

If you use Verizon, try this: *228 SEND Option 2 to connect to closest tower. Or ask your carrier how to do this.
