I was listening to music in the car today via the FM transmitter, and was shocked to see that there aren't any music controls on the lockscreen. Coming from Windows Phone, all I had to do was click the lock/unlock button, and it had back/pause/forward.

Is there a way to get this on the Note 2? I don't want to have to unlock the device every time i want to see what's playing or skip it.

It's probably is a setting in whatever launcher your using. That function works fine with touchwiz. Which launcher are you using?

Touchwiz brings up a lockscreen media player?

    Glos.
I use Touchwiz and the stock music player and there's no music controls on the lockscreen.

Thanks for sharing that, because I went back to TW earlier to test it and it still didn't appear.

For the record, I'm not talking about Page Buddy (that doesn't work in Nova, but i expected that). I'm talking about playing music under the lock screen. On iOS and Windows Phone (and Symbian, Maemo...) if you click the home or unlock button, there is a media palyer widget on the lockscreen, telling you the artist, song, and giving the ability to pause or skip tracks.
