Help Lock screen question, please help

Okay so i decided that to start using the android lock pattern system. I set it up but one problem, when i unlock my screen i first get the htc pull down to unlock, then i get the android lock, i find it very annoying having to take 2 tasks to get the phone unlocked. Is there a way i can disable to htc lock and leave just the android one?

From what I've read, that's the only way you can do it.
I don't know if downloading Lockbot would help get rid of the first lockscreen but I don't believe so.
