Help Locked at tmo screen factory resetting.

-unmounted memory card and started factory reset
-was performing initial restarts when it locked
on tmo screen while resetting.
-been 3 hours...

I'm currently on hold with asus dealing with another problem.
I'm hoping to find out if this is normal. I remember the encryption process was fairly lengthy so I am hoping that is what is taking longer than normal.

Up n running.

Had me try to hold power for twenty seconds.
Nothing happened.
Pulled battery.
Power + vol v till lg screen then reset fingers

I hope you didn't take my comment as being dismissive.
Quite the contrary,I suggested T-Mo Customer Care in the event things went south,there's a record of you following their instructions.
Responsibility/follow-up regarding getting your handset up & running again,or replacement,would at least w/some measure,rest w/them & not leaving you twisting in the wind.

Hopefully,you'll find the update works well for you.
