General locked bootloader?

    Yeah, read the same thing. I'm not happy with HTC about this since they have helped XDA developers with it's easy access to their phones in the past. I bet Verizon is making them do it...

    Idk. The Incredible s was for the Europe but that was signed to so it can't be all verizon it could be HTC going bad

    Not a good thing. The openness of HTC phones was a major differentiation between them and MOT (for example).

    I'm devastated! I was really considering this phone but not so sure now.

    First Motorola, now HTC. Not a good sign for the future.

    It's already been rooted on the INCS' released in asia that were shipped with s-off, it's predicted root will be achieved on all others with s-on within the next two weeks, and yes, its a signed bootloader.
