Help locked out

htc wildfire , i have a pattern lock , screen was only partly working and partly frozen , locked after too many attempts . have user name , cant rember password . how do i unlock or retrieve password . please help

Tap 'forgot pattern' type in your user name and where it says password type in -> null

i had tap it forgotpattern in username nd null in password but it doeno working having same problem again i have shown this you have incorrect entered your unlock password 5 times

If thats the case then i dunno guys, im going by people who've had similar or the same problem, its never happened to me so i cant go from experience, sorry :l

Try this guys
Turn of your device, then turn it back on, just as your homescreen loads, keep on tapping your home button, keep on tapping it until the lockscreen 'too many attempts one' goes
