Help lollipop issues, reinstall Kikat?

Downloaded Lollipop and regret it. My phone freezes constantly. It now randomly shuts off. The battery drains faster and is erratic in how fast or slow it now charges. There are other less irritating issues that came with the update. Is it possible to reinstall Kitkat? Or other suggestions if reinstalling Kitkat isn't possible.

You should try to factory reset your phone

OP, I feel your pain.
Up-dates are a pain in the a**. I too am having trouble with LP.
I also do not agree with the bull that you need to do a factory reset and have to rebuild your device......
But, that may be the way we will have to "Fix" our previously fine phones.
This will be the second time I would have to "re-set" and I'm not happy.

Why can't Google/Samsung (and whoever) get this up-grading down to an art?

LP has it's own set of issues. Not only having to learn the new ways things are done in LP.
I have spent two days (at least 16 hours) re-building my device after doing a re-set
