Lollipop update for Droid Maxx

I heard a rumor about the newer Lollipop update for my Droid Maxx (currently KitKat) ..Was wondering if this rumor is true and when will it be available.. thx

So far Motorola's status page still says that the Maxx is getting Lollipop, but they have promised no dates. Recently they (Motorola) did say that they are preparing Stagefright patch updates for the phones that they support, which included the Droid Maxx, that some of the phones will get full Android version updates rather than the patch (we can presume that the Maxx is one of those phones), but that they are prioritizing the Stagefright patch updates to update their most important models first - and we can presume that newer phones are more important than older ones.

Anyway, so far we presume that the Maxx will get Lollipop at some point, but I wouldn't count on it being soon.
