I have a few books and a couple of very large video game manuals on my phone in PDF format.

However just using the adobe pdf viewer is kind of a hassle.

Are there any programs that are ebook like that allow me to import my pdf files? I tried Aldiko but it wouldn't allow me to import them. Says no files found.

    Thanks.

Aldiko is funny that way. Once you position your files for import, reboot your phone and then try the import function. At least that's what works for me (after much frustration).

Yeah, I tried that but for some reason Aldiko kept reporting that it couldn't find any files to import. I rebooted and then it found them.

Swiping is a good way to turn the pages, too. I find it easier than using the button.

For Aldiko, I just tap the left and right sides to change pages. It's useful for reading on a crowded subway with one hand holding the metal bar, and one hand on my phone. It's one-handed book operation.

I like Alkido but I also like Laputa. It has a neat page flipping look.
