    hiya i currently have the HTC Tattoo Android phone and i'm looking for a good, free IM app so i can get in touch with my friends from yahoo, gmail, facebook, etc.

    Meebo IM is a good instant messenger, supports AIM MSN Yahoo Facebook MySpace Google Talk Jabber and ICQ.

    For me its Nimbuzz...besides supporting all the norm even has Skype (messenging only)...Luv it :)

    Theirs also ebuddy , and if you wanna chat using Skype I found out {thanks Shivers316} that you can use the app "Fring" :)

    Personally Meebo seems to kick me way to often to be considered reliable.

    I haven't had any issues w/ nimbuzz and it covers all the networks you wanted.

    +1. I tried it for a day and kept getting kicked off. eBuddy seems to work much better for me.
