I have been reading this forum for a month now and think I'm missing something.
I still cannot figure out how to change the icons, docks, etc to customize my Vibrant.
I have every app known to man (ADW, Launcherpro, Bettercut, ahome, etc) and been playing around with them for a bit.
Reading the explanations on how to download and apply the icons...I swear I'm just not getting it.
When it says to download to my SD card and then use an app (bettercut or something), I understand that.
But when I have the phone's SD card in my computer I have the option of music, images and movie.
I would assume the icons would go into images?
    Docks also?
And do the images of the icons get put into the SD card section individually or the whole file as it it?
I'd so appreciate a hand with this, been drooling at everyone elses forever.
Or a link to somewhere that is "icons for dummies" or similar.

It differs depending on the home launcher.
Also, some icons only work with certain home launchers.
If you have Open Home you can click on the bottom left capacitive button and pull up the settings (may be preferences) and find the icon packs in there.

With Launcher Pro click on the bottom left capacitive button and click preferences. That brings up dock settings.

    Thanks for answering.
Funny thing is all of that part are things I've figured out.

I just can't figure out how to get the icon packs onto the phone/SD card.

To access your SD cards as mass memory drives, you need to mount them after connecting your USB cable. There's an option for it if you swipe down the notification bar.
