Lost widgets after update

Hi all,

First post on the forum. Got my Desire 2 weeks ago on T-mobile from the Carphone Warehouse.

This morning I downloaded the over the air update and it all installed ok but I have a problem. For some reason, my desk clock, people and htc music widgets have vanished from my homescreens and widget menu.

Has anyone else had this problem and also, know how to get these back?

Just drag them back out - and add them again (push down and hold baby)

It could have been the update however it never happened to me.

That's the problem unfortunately, they're no longer on my list of widgets to put back on my screen. Just vanished.

You tried clicking on the button that adds more HTC widgets?

I've had the same problem - vanished from the list following a factory restore to try (so far with limited success) to solve a persistent 'com.htc.launcher' error.

'MyBackup' didn't back them up. The only place they appear is on my AppBrain list on my phone (Desire) but there's no way to access or reinstall them from there.

Will continue to research, but any assistance very gratefully received.
