Anyway I could get this setup on my eris without having to get info from my IS Dept? Not really sure they would let me have it.
I get work related emails on this account, and when I am away from the office and have an email for a powerpoint etc etc, I would like to be able to get it.

I don't believe you can get the information without asking. I haven't found a way to hit Domino and get the information. I tried with my Blackberry and my Eris. What I did to get around it, though, was to set up a mail rule to forward all of my e-mail to my phone (used my gmail account). On my Blackberry, I could set it up so that when I replied from my phone, everything appeared to have come from my Lotus Notes instead. However, I haven't been able to get it to do this on the Eris.

There are some Lotus apps available on the Android market. What info do you need?

We use a BES server and get all our email on BBerry's, but I understand there is a web client for Notes, similar to Outlook.

Have you looked into doing it that way? I would be curious to hear about it myself if you figure it out!

I just downloaded 'Lotus Launcher' from the Android market and configured it to my webmail based Lotus notes. Works great, but I don't think I understand your situation correctly as per the other responses so I'll leave it at that.

That depends on a whole lot of things...

    1) MOST IMPORTANTLY: Are users on other devices able to get their Lotus Notes mail (this is important, because your Domino Server may not be accessible from the Internet...ours is not)

    2) Do you know the Server Name/Address?

I'm a Domino Administrator, so I might be able to help you get it setup, if you can get to it at all from the Internet.

I installed this and cant seem to configure it correctly to match my Webmail based lotus notes.

    I have a HTC EVO.

What do I check in the first box for config. HTTP or HTTPS?

    Next for server name?

    and DB NAME?

and last do I need to check the lotus notes database version?

    Thanks for your help.

These all depend on how your Server is configured.

I suspect HTTPS (I can't imagine it not being secure).

As far server name, I don't think anyone on here could guess what your IT Department named your Domino server.

DB name, would be the name of your mail file. That depends on the naming schema for your organization.

They are currently working on a Traveler client for Android. They may actually be done already, but I haven't heard that yet.

traveler beta has been out a while, our notes admin installed yesterday and I'm running the lotus apps now, I never thought I'd say this about anything lotus notes, but the traveler apps for android are actually very nice! Whether the OP's IT dept will install is the problem.

Besides Traveler, another option is to access your Lotus Notes mail through the browser on the device. You can use the ultra-light mode of the web-based iNotes product to do this from an Android device.

I'm not familiar with the mobile applications, but ideally, it would be on your mobile device, and accessed via the internet, and not a "connect to your PC" situation.

You will be better off contacting your Notes Administrator. If they aren't aware of you trying to access it remotely, it may not be able for you to contact it.

Plus, no one is going to be able to tell you what your server name is, etc... That's something you really are going to need to talk to your Notes administrator for.
