MAEMO clock in Android?Support

    I've had a G1 for almost a month now, I was playing around with the widgets and I noticed something odd... in the clock widget (included by default on the G1) there is something written in very small letters just barely distinguishable but I'm pretty sure it says "MAEMO" on it!

    For those who don't know, Maemo is Nokia's Operating System, similar to Android. Now I am left wondering, why did Google put a reference to a rival OS on their own OS?

    I cant even tell if it says maemo, so small

    I think it says MALMO or MALMiO. There looks like there's something between the M and O though.

    Ah... that makes sense.

    MAEMO

    The difference is just the extra fins of E.
