Mail app keeps force closing or can't connectSupport

    I've got my work email set up on the default mail app. It's an exchange email. It will work just fine for a few days but after a while I will get either a force close or a "connection error" message. the first time this happened. I removed the account and started it from scratch. Same thing happened. It worked for a while and then these errors.

    So I guess my question is, does anyone know how to fix this? Or, does anyone know a good (free) mail app that will work with MS exchange?

    If it is persistent, try a complete factory reset of your phone, unless someone knows a less drastic measure.

    you can do a factory reset by dialing in *#*#7780#*#*
    warning, erases everything, and sets your phone back to factory default

    Same story here, Samsung captivate.

    Exchange works for about a week, then starts to FC every time, including when checking Gmail.remove exchange account,add it again, worked for 5 days.

    I'll keep doing that, not going to rest the entire phone. It us only 2 weeks old, so I doubt it would do much anyway and at least ask my exchange data is easy to resync.

    Would love a real solution though.
