Manufacturer Root?

Here's what I think should happen: Google should post a way to root all Android phones. But, make it so that it can't be done with a malevolent intent. Manufacturers should stop trying to stop root. As we've seen before with the Droid Inc, the Droid X and 2, among many others. We find a barrier, we smash through it. Adding a chip won't stop us. We'll find a way around, or get a script that automatically roots it on start up. Sure, that method would disable custom roms, but it'd work in the meantime. Root is a right given to all Android users. Although some users shouldn't root.

Umm, no. When you root, you make it harder for the manufacturer to support the phone.
