Map application for GPS

Hello guys.I'm looking for an app that uses gps only(with no internet connection) that can show me a map of my location(like google maps but it uses internet).Is there such an app?Thanks in advance

You can pre-cache some areas in Google Maps, but you won't be able to navigate that way, only to take a glance at the map to see where you are.

If you want real GPS navigation, then you ought to download from market some map app, like Sygic.

It quite annoyed me because when I wanted it to find my location it didn't work

You tried it outside of buildings?
Your phone hasn't problems with GPS locks?
You downloaded your country's OpenStreetMap on your SD card?

MapDroyd is simple, it can't tracking and it can't navigating but it can find the phone's location

You can try navfree, see if your country's map is available.
