Help Market and Gmail access on new Zenithink tablet

I just got a new Zenithink android tablet and when i try to access the market place or gmail, it keeps saying it cannot access the data from my phone. It says I may not have data on my phone, but I DEFINITELY DO. Why is this so hard? Or is it operator error? Can someone please help me??? Thanks a ton!!!

So you have WiFi access enabled on your Zenithink tablet?

Can you surf the Internet and use the tablets web browser to get to web sites without issue?

Yes, I can do everything on the net without issue. Its only the google account that wont work...ironic?! haha
