Market Downloads on ZTE Racer II

I'm a first time android user and I have the ZTE racer II. I've downloaded a few things from the market but I cant find them on my phone anywhere! How does it work? Do you have to stay on the market until its downloaded?

Welcome to the forum Kitzer and thanks for joining.

The apps should continue downloading in the background of you exit the market app and show up in your app draw. If you open up the market and press menu you should be able to select "my apps". If the downloaded apps don't show there then something went wrong with the download so try again.
