Root Marketplace update and rooted phones

My marketplace auto updated last night to the new one. It seems to me since then the phone has been running really slow and weird. Also I noticed in my running applications I see one called marketplace alarm????

Is anyone else having this issue and what is that alarm all about?

I am going to try to flash the update from the other day but now I am contemplating just unrooting and forget about the hassle (not even sure how to do that lol).

Oh yeah it seems like my 3G is active all the time like some data is pushing but can't figure out what.

No idea, but have you rebooted the phone? Or have you checked to see what apps are running?

having similar issues since the market updated.

uninstall the update in manage applications and turn off auto update for the market app
